Post by: anglefire on August 15, 2009, 01:32:19 PM
A video has been posted on Outdoor Photography of this lens in use.

Both stills and video through the lens! Amazing!

Not the most practical of kit but still wouldn't mind a try.  Painting it in a different colour doesn't really make it any less conspicuous does it. :2funny:

Its how the 500mm is made to look positively small!

I'd love a go too!

Worth watching the video for the comedy value also. It is a fairly excessive looking piece of kit. that said, you couldn't argue with the quality of the results. That last clip of the little bird with the red head is amazing.

You could also try the Nikon 1200-1700mm F5.6-F8.  :2funny:

But it won't work on me Canon! :)

Actually what I liked in particular was the way you altered the camera from landscape to portrait - thats

I was interested until the wife refused to agree to carry it around for me.

Still lovely pictures and a lovely piece of kit to have in your collection - or even afford to have in your collection.
Do you think i should concentrate on getting a second 5D MkII body first?  ;D
