This is your chance to advance human knowledge . . or take a picture of a big clock. The choice is yours!
As put forward by New Scientist magazine: The passage of time is perhaps the most fundamental experience in our existence. Yet our best theories suggest that it is not real. Time doesn't flow, and past, present and future cannot sensibly be defined. 8)
OK, this is making my head hurt now. :uglystupid2:
I haven't got time for this!
Here's my effort - should have been out flying my new Mavic Air, but it's rather soggy outside; it's been raining for almost 2 days solid.

This was done by having the set up in a dark place - in my case the basement, and it's so overcast outside that even though there are windows it was quite dark enough. Flash fired by poverty wizards, in this case the Yongnuo CTR301P set. Flash is Metz 58-AF1 with a sellotaped on front lens (I dropped it a while ago) through a white umbrella, zoom set to 50mm and on pulse flash, 1/64th power, 10hz and 6 flashes. Took a fair few attempts to get the metronome arm images where I liked the look of them.
Eye catching and creative. The sort of thing I never did, for lack of equipment (and laziness).
I have been looking for an overflowing ash tray, to symbolise 'Wasted Time,' but, like smoking in public, they have disappeared.
I had the time Re, a lot of which was taken up with trying to find the metronome - it was in the bottom of a cupboard at the back of the garage, slated for a car boot sale.
The kit is not expensive - the flash triggers are an eBay item that cost less than £20, and I could have just put the flash on the camera (might even have worked better). There are a lot of flashguns that do pulse flashes, even the little Godox TT350 (£69) I have for my Panasonic cameras does it. :)
I do hope you get your photo mojo back soon. Maybe better weather might help, if we ever get any . . .
An archive photo from me this week. I had an idea and had collected some props. I discussed it with the wife and she said that it wasn't appropriate to post on a public forum. I was going to make a fake 'bomb' with some coloured wires coming out of it, then tape a stop watch to it with some snips, suggesting you have to cut a wire in the few seconds left. I agree to a degree that it was bad taste so decided against it.

One from the archives for me too. I have been way too busy and haven't participated for a while, hence the archived shot.

Archive shot from me as well, as I ran out of energy again this week.
