I was fortunate to pick up an almost brand new Panasonic FZ1000 for a very good price this week. Unfortunately I haven't been able to get out to test it yet. I have been photographing any object in the house. I took these pics today. Nothing special but I would like your opinion. I'm struggling with some of the camera features.
Just noticed. It's the same boat and the same seagull but closely cropped. Yet the seagull appears to have turned its head toward me in the full shot........ :-\
The FZ1000 was the other camera on my shortlist before I plumped for the FZ300. I suspect a lot of the operational stuff is similar. Only thing is that so far I have only got through the first 60 or so pages of the advanced manual and haven't even done a video recording yet.
Your pictures look very good, but I'd watch out for that seagull when the lights go out.
Thanks for replying Hinfrance. I'm just waiting for the opportunity to take some exterior shots in half decent weather. :)
