Weekly Comp:24/06 - 02/07/17 - CHAT THREAD – PUBLIC ART
The topic for this week is PUBLIC ART
:D That was very nearly a very different sort of competition when I missed the L out of "Public" first time.
For this one I want you to show us all some local art works, sculpture or some such on public display that is on show in your area. Not architecture that could be art but a deliberate piece of work in the public domain.
No restrictions on editing. Pictures to be taken preferably between now and Sunday 9th July 2017, 23:59, OR please enter something from your personal archives.
Pictures to be posted in the entries thread no later than 23:59pm Monday 10th July 2017.
Poll will be up Tuesday 11th July 2017 .
Winner to be announced Saturday 15th July 2017

(if for any reason there is a problem and no subject is posted by the winner by Monday night admin will advise second place winner to post the topic asap, do the poll etc)

That would certainly have been interesting. ;D ;D
Very challenging, if you wanted to get a tasteful end result, fit for family viewing.
No flies on Jinky! :2funny:
Shouldn't this be called the chat thread? :uglystupid2:
I once stumbled upon a documentary about the subject without the L!!!! It's fascinating what one can achieve with some fabric and double sided tape. ...
I have uploaded my entry today as Im away at a festival this weekend :fworks3:
The wife popped into Northampton today for a haircut so I grabbed the camera and had a wander. There isn't really much in Northampton but found some statues that were put up last week for the Northampton in bloom show. Just need to decide which one to use for the comp.
Historically I`ve got more favoured images from YSP but wanted to take a new one and loved this field of figures without understanding it :uglystupid2:
