I was combing through random pages when I saw this one by Ogga. A nice simple composition using available light and one brightly coloured subject. I like simplicity / minimalist shots at times but the inspiration is not just the image but his words in the comments. Taking a shot for the comp Ogga was trying for something else that was not working. He then noticed the light play and just went for this different shot - sometimes it`s best to keep your eyes open for what is around you and move on rather than just staring through the viewfinder .

The one thing I`d have cloned out is that little bit of light reflection spoiling the lines below the apple Ogga ;)
I second that. I too, spotted it in the random gallery recently.
Nice simplicity. I like the extra dimension of the reflecting high light.
