CHAT - FLIGHT - Weekly Challenge 6th to 13th March 2016

This week's theme is FLIGHT. Anything to do with flight, human, bird, frisbee - it doesn't matter.
No restrictions on PP.
Pictures to be taken between now and Sunday 13th March 2016, 23:59.
Pictures to be posted in the entries thread no later than 23:59pm Monday 14th March 2016.
Poll will be up Tuesday 15th March 2016.
Winner to be announced Saturday 19th March 2016.

Create a poll for that weeks comp and declare the winner on the Saturday
(if for any reason there is a problem and no subject is posted by the winner by Monday night admin will advise second place winner to post the topic asap, do the poll etc)
In case of a tie, the first entry posted wins.
Just to clarify for Re and anyone else who has the impression that the topic requires the subject to actually be in flight, this is not the case. The theme is anything to do with flight, static or otherwise. Really quite a wide choice I would hope :)

I've done the thinking, and assuming the old adage 'Interpret as you like, the voter decides,' is still valid, went completely out of the box.

Super idea Re. My planned entry is going to be a lot more conventional.
Nothing unconventional about a flight of stairs, surely?

Well, yes they posed a bit more of a problem, but nothing compared to a bird. Went for a walk on the Common today, and saw two robins, flitting about, and one even staying put for a reasonable time, but I still couldn't 'get' them properly. I'm simply too slow for wildlife.
Now if we take L out of flight then this might be OK. :P

It's fine; they're Siamese twins, flapping their wings, trying to fly. :)
Sorry- promised myself I`d get some entries in after getting back rom holiday only to be really busy with a wedding shoot and then my daughter got seriously ill with complications after a standard procedure left her discharged from hospital with low blood pressure. Turned out she had internal bleeding after a leak and 4 units of blood pouring into her stomach / insides which made her collapse. Rushed back to hospital A&E next morning and they had to operate again and give her a blood transfusion. Not sure at this stage if it was negligence or just bad luck. The number of visits from her surgeon and senior consultant to her hospital bed over the extra time in hospital I suspect someone boobed ! Never see them normally afterwards. Meant us being down there for a week with no camera in tow so sorry for absence. This week I promise I`ll get one in!

we are all thinking about you, hope everything goes well this time!
Thanks all. She is doping really well now and things seem stable. Her husband developed man flu just as we left and his caring role kicked in but I told him to man up and we left them to it. All should be well now. :)
