After water another W - this time white. White is an achromatic color, literally a "color without hue", that is a mixture of the frequencies of all the colors of the visible spectrum. It is one of the most common colors in nature, the color of sunlight, snow, milk, chalk, limestone and other common minerals. You might be lucky and have snow or you must have something white to shoot. Anything you like but the dominant element / theme in the image must be white
No restrictions on PP.
Pictures to be taken between now and Sunday 24th January 2016, 23:59.

I thought we said sometime back it starts whenever the theme is set to give people a little more time if the setter thinks of a theme. We`ve had quite a few instances recently where it`s started straight away or on the Sunday. As it says in the guidelines post on Sunday or when win is declared and shoot from then until the deadline.
You're right Paul - we changed the rules to allow posting immediately after the new theme was posted.
Has your snow melted yet? It's rather soggy here today. Not white, grey.
I`m so glad I went out yesterday morning. Started thawing after lunch despite forecasts of another inch overnight. This morning we are left with just damp ground with white patches. Disappointing but at least I`ve managed to shoot next year`s Christmas card maybe ;)
I made sure my (camera) battery was fully charged, ready for the expected snow. It wasn't to be though, we had rain instead.
Had a bit of snow last weekend which clung to the trees for a Narnia-like effect in the local woods.

Big storm expected this weekend. Lots of firewood stacked up!
Hope you took all the right precautions Ogga, and weather(ed) the storm.
I haven't shot anything white yet. Hardly have the camera out at the moment, apart from when I do my voluntary work, as I am the 'semi official' photographer. Took some shots of white rimmed (hoar frost) ivy, but that is such a cliché, I won't even consider it.
Am having a 'laundry weekend' at the moment; maybe I can 'do' something 'artistic' with my white wash? But there is hardly any light in this grey and murky weather. Would be a challenge though, and I might just try it.
Spent hours trying to 'get something' with textures and layers, only to discover some simple distortions gave the best results.
