Posted just for interest... I snapped this while out with a large group of family, to show the autumn trees in Glasgow's Queen's Park

But the crop of the right hand top corner shows the result of the failed demolition a couple of weeks ago (two red blocks either side of the very tall one).

The Leaning Towers of Sighthill
Saw the towers in the paper. Very awkward! And dangerous, I would think.
Are they the Red Road blocks that I have been reading about recently, or other modern tenements?
Yes, Red Road. It seems that event made the news all over. I heard it while I was in Spain. I wouldn't like to be the person who goes inside to set new charges!

I get a daily email from a newspaper in Scotland. I like to try to keep up with a small number of current events (definitely not including the Kardashians). Red Road caught my eye because I remembered the film.
