My website can be viewed with cooliris. Really useful for some of the larger sections (Mostly motorsport, when there tends to be a lot!)

All you need to do is make sure it has an RSS feed, pretty much!

It's an excellent add-on that I have been using for some time.

Mick
It can even be added to a coppermine gallery .

Mick, it is really easy if you ignore the Coppermine forums they don't want anything to do with CoolIris or anything they haven't written.. Look for an add-on called Xfeed and all you have to do is add it. If you can't find it I can send you a copy. The only modification that you need to make to the script is to increase the number of photos in the feed.

Thanks for that Colin, might take you up on that offer as I'm not sure which version to download.  1.0 - 1.3 or 1.4 which seems to be adapted for coppermine 1.5

Got a bit confused as I was reading the coppermine boards, is it this plugin? http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,56622.0.html

Also, what edits do I have to make to it, and where.  :-[  Also, I'm using the easy RSS plugin, so I assume I'll have to remove this first?

Also while browsing noticed you got told off a few times.   :D  glad all forums are not moderated like that.

I use the original xfeed plugin and it works fine (if it ain't broken don't fix it). This new version looks interesting particularly if they are going to incorporate it into the release of Coppermine 1.5. The only change I made was to line 43 of the xfeed.php file this is what mine has now $upperlimit = 60; //feed limit I just changed the number so that more photos are displayed in CoolIris.

I don't see any technical reason why you can't have two RSS feeds but it is probably better to disable easy RSS plugin and try it. Xfeed does deliver RSS properly and my son is subscribed to my Coppermine Gallery using Snarfer and it always tells him when new photos are published.

I don't know of any forum that is as unfriendly as the Coppermine one  :( I too am glad that this one isn't like that   :D :D

This is the thread to the original Xfeed that I use http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,50572.0.html (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,50572.0.html)
and this one http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,48819.0.html (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,48819.0.html)

Colin,

what's the actual name of the plugin I'm looking for please?  one of the links you posted was about the easy rss plugin, and as mentioned before, I already had that one installed.  Is it the atom plugin, the one attached to your post over at the coppermine forums.

Mick, it is called Xfeed and the link to it is in both the topics above, but easiest to find as  cpg_RSS2_Atom10_Plugin_2.1.zip in the second link second post (first post by me in the thread). Sorry I should have made it clearer above.
