Great. Another theme that should attract a good few entries. Let's hope plenty join in.

Still on holiday in OZ. Flying back Friday this week and NOT looking forward to the temperatures in England. Not dropped below 25degC for the last month and was 30 today. Anyway in quickly with this as I will be travelling and will most prob: forget.

Had to laugh, Jeff, we've just spent a week in Churchill (northern Canada), where it was mostly -25deg each day (and that's during the day). Can't imagine showing any skin to the sun at the moment

Typical! I set myself the task of getting an interesting rain shot and the weather forecast changes and we have 3 days of blue skies and sun.  :doh:

Off to Holland tomorrow for a funeral. Will not take my netbook, so will not be on line much.

I know I have been saying this for the last three competitions or so, but this time, I really think I will not have an entry. Not even a last minute one.

We have,  of course,  had weather all week: none of it, alas, photogenic.  It's like Mark Twain said, what you want is climate,  what you get is weather.

I have a few ideas for this weekend but of course this is dependent upon the weather fitting the idea.

Now we have loads of rain and flat grey skies in Leeds ... and precious little time to do anything! I`ll try and get a shot amongst a 90th and a joint 60th party at which my presence is required, camera in hand of course , at the weekend. Both on the same day - one in Newcastle , one in Knaresborough and unable to offebd either by not going. 2 parties and not a drop to drink for me!!! :uglystupid2:

I've just realised how hard this theme is, I have some nice 'snow' images but that's not really 'weather'. Yesterday caught some nice clouds but they are OK, and might have to do.
Today it's snowing, tried to get the concept of 'it's snowing' and all I got were pictures of cold people.
Back to the drawing board.

I've entered a picture that pretty much sums up what most of the last week has been - grey.

No image from me this week. No time. No inspiration from the elements. Not happy.....

I wanted to do a Magritte type image with an umbrella as seen as weather not playing ball.  Can't find an umbrella.

I think I finally have an image, taken at 6.30 am (note the time and the dedication to the task). It was blowing a blizzard in Quebec and it was taken just at the railway station. Unfortunately I have not downloaded it as yet, so you will have to wait until tomorrow to view it.

Try CS6 trial.  ::)

The weather people told us that the winter was the sunniest on record!  :uglystupid2:

My photos seem to contradict that!  Out Sunday and today for four hours each without taking a photo! >:(

Yes it turned from outright sun and clear blue skies to flat grey skies here. One session of "rain" that I went out in.
