CHAT Thread weekly competition 31st January to Sunday 8th February 2015
STREET FOOD
As I'm aiming to take more risks and try street food on my trip I thought I'd pressurise myself to forsake the hotels and do so by setting this theme. I seem to have wifi available to enable me to upload some kind of entry without much editing so why not! How you capture the sense of street food is up to you - whether it be appetising food cooking on the street in food stands, people eating or shots of takeaways / restaurants day or night. No restrictions on editing and the world is your lobster as Del Boy would say.

Pictures to be taken between now (Saturday 31st January 2015) and Sun 8th February 2015.
Pictures to be posted in the entries thread no later than 23.59pm Monday 9th February 2015.
Poll will be up Tuesday 10th February 2015.
Winner to be announced Saturday February 14th 2015.

Post a topic on, or before the Sunday following your declared win
Create an entries thread
Create a chat thread
Create a poll for that weeks comp and declare the winner on the Saturday
(if for any reason there is a problem and no subject is posted by the winner by Monday night admin will advise second place winner to post the topic asap, do the poll etc
I might have my entry already. In local tapas bar with free wifi . I logged on read theme took PIC! Of course I had camera with me. No WAY would I leave it alone in hotel.
For a change, and also in the hope to get back into photography, I actually went out to spot 'street food' for the competition.
I did find quite a few foodie things.

Well I finally managed to upload an entry but cannot now get its tagged details to post into the entries post! Its taken me asged to get to right size / location. If anyone can post it for me I'd be grateful as its beyond me and my nexis / slow WiFi :(

Paul, didn't you install RawDroid Pro on your tablet? I use it when I'm on my hols - brilliant, and only about £3 I seem to recall.

Nipped out this morning for the usual local market run - what with it being the middle of winter it is a bit quiet and not all of the usual food vendors were about. I grabbed a few shots, and this one is the best of the bunch.

No I've just done a little in camera edit and used image shrink. Little time for anything else. Having a great trip but full on travelling. Going on a boat on Halong Bay tomorrow then on to Hanoi for the last bit.
