Doesn't have to be a full length portrait, a curve or two will do.
I once saw a low key self portrait of a female who was quite 'curvy' and it was very , very impressive.

There you go then: table lamp, muslin, bath oil, remote trigger, self portrait, job's a good 'un :legit:
Haven't done a compo in a while, will give this a shot.

About time! ;)
Here here Matthew
Well, as I said, I did take a partial selfie yesterday, and then used a lot of pp to disguise it a bit. Turned it into a work of 'Art.' Well ... sort of.
And it will not be my entry, as I took another shot this morning (not a selfie) that seems promising. No time to look at it now, as I've got other work to do.

Yes and it's my necklace at the top. Glad you like it; quite enjoyed editing it. Have now several versions that would 'do.'

I'm sure you really don't need to be told that. Makes things nice and shiny in a photographs.
A bit housebound at the moment, so I have to take pot shots from the windows.
This I spotted yesterday morning. It may become my entry for the competition.
Oops!
Pilot answered his mobile.

Taken at the Boat Show?
Taken at the Boat Show?
Nope - it's actually a burger van on a car park at the top of Portsdown Hill!
I'm going to try my best to enter this week. Been a really busy few weeks so not been around much. Things are settling down a bit and I have a couple of ideas that I'm hoping may come good, so hoping to get an entry in this week.
Had a go at the tunnels under Fort nelson; forgot the tripod so all hand-held.
Too much movement I think will have to give it another go sometime.

Our new front path has a bit of a curve to it so I think this will be my entry. I am continuing to keep my eyes open for something else. Good topic to encourage some creative thinking. :)

Thought I'd get in with the slinky shots before jinky did. So here's mine, Toroidal Slinky:

(As chosen by my daughter - personally I preferred the one called 'wobble')
LOL - running out of time for a shot I got up to look for my multi coloured slink fall back and remembered I`d chucked it after some cat play left it battered and bent up. Might have to resort to kitchen implements now :)

You've always been good with kitchen implements; looking forward to the result.
I have by now gathered so many curves (in photographs, not personally) that I find it difficult to choose.

Same here R. Can't decide what to enter.
Well competition certainly doing the job and making me think!
had several ideas for comp - none of which was really what I wanted for various reasons.... Tunnel not sharp enough, Hay bale too much of a cliché, reflections not quite curved enough - so went with the web shot :)
was looking for a decent web shot all week - couldn't get one out and about - so the entry is from my back garden!
Entries so far are so good - almost didn't post!
I'm in with another (very much) disguised selfie. On the right hand side of the reflection, in white T shirt and camera against her face, is your faithful photographer, chronicler of all that happens around Soton.

Not sure of an entry this week. Have taken some images but might not get time to process them. I have a busy morning and working till 8 pm tonight. Fingers crossed I can get one in. This weeks images are very strong and it looks like a good healthy comptition to be had once voting commences.

Surely, you must already know, which of your shots is most suitable.
Then it must be possible, to edit and post it between 8 and 12 tonight?
Easier said than done. Need to do housey things and eat but will try
I had a bit of a dilemma this week. I simply couldn't decide which photo to enter so my wife chose for me, and this is the one she chose;
