I'll tell you what OB, this is going to be a bit of a toughy for me.
It's not that I can't find any insects, it's just that the little beggars are much faster than I am . . :)

Mines in for this weekend, some great entries once again!
I'm not sure what it is, can anyone ID what it is? This one was running up and around the leaves and shoots and was a bit tricky to get. There were another two that were in quite a 'comprimising' position but wasn't able to get a decent angle on them!

Not really had much success with this weeks subject, in between all the gardening and the wind blowing round the garden (not that kind of wind! :P) there weren't that many stationary insects about when usually there are lots in the garden.
Good luck all.

It looks like the Hazel Weevil. :D
Just posted my entry.
Lots of good entries and I hope the subject didn't BUG you!! :2funny: :2funny: :2funny:
No entry from me this week I'm afraid. You've beaten me with this challenge OB. Loads of insects about, all moving at just less than the speed of sound and no dedicated macro equipment is a recipe for failure with this one. :D
Best of luck to the entrants - they're all looking pretty good, so I shall think hard about casting my vote.
Looks like I was too fast for this ex-insect. The last thing thru its mind before I hit it at 125mph was its backside. :D
