CHAT THREAD
This week's theme is NAUGHTY.
ENTRIES THREAD HERE (http://cameracraniums.com/forum/index.php?topic=4064.new#new)
Someone or something a little bit risqué or socially frowned upon. Like eating too much cake, eating with your fingers, eating deep fried Mars bars, licking the plate, picking your nose, dropping litter, cocking a snoot at authority. Really loads to chose from . .
Any interpretation of the theme will be accepted so long as your entry depicts naughtiness in some way and does not break the forum's decency rules. That last bit is really important.
No restrictions on post processing. I think this offers possibilities in all sorts of 'photo styles and does not restrict anyone wherever they are in the world.
We will try the new way and start the taking of pictures, if you like, as soon as this is posted and give it a try
Pictures to be taken between posting time on Sunday 10th August 2014 to 23:59 Sunday 17th August 2014.
Pictures to be posted in the entries thread no later than 23.59pm Monday 18th August 2014.
Poll will be up Tuesday 19th August 2014.
Winner to be announced Saturday 23rd August. 2014.
The Rules for the weekly competition are...
By entering you agree to take responsibility to
Post a topic on the Sunday following your declared win
Create an entries thread
Create a chat thread
Create a poll for that weeks comp and declare the winner on the Saturday
(if for any reason there is a problem and no subject is posted by the winner by Monday night admin will advise second place winner to post the topic asap, do the poll etc.)
In case of a tie, the first entry posted wins.
Photos to be taken during the specified dates, ie date at which the new topic is set xx to Sunday xx
Oh dear, I hope you know what you started.
I'm sure DD's self control will be exemplary :)
Whatever do you mean? I am a perfect lady...........when I need to be *scratches her bum*
I should have taken a camera with me last evening to our neighbour's dinner party: I had five different desserts on my plate at the same time. And I ate them all - what a pig. No breakfast or lunch for me today to try to make up a little for the overindulgence. :o
I`m useless at obeying instructions! By the time I saw the rain it was too heavy to go out and get the washing in ... so I took a photo :). My wife did not see the funny side when she got back :legit:.
Naught Boy - you didn`t get the washing in!

Yes, but did the camera survive? :D
I didn`t go outside Oldboy - I`d have gotten wet ;)

I was thinking the wife smashed it! :o :'( :P
Im currently reading the '50 Shades' trilogy and it's tainting my thoughts for this weekend's comp! I am really struggling for ideas but have 2 I want to try. Off to Penrith tomorrow, overnight stay in a hotel so I might have to wait until I return Sunday unless my hotel room inspires a naughty image.......
I currently have no photo software on my PC and more guests coming today, so I probably won't be entering this week.
Thats naughty! Try a straight out of camera shot.
Here's a real pet peeve of mine:

:legit:just took a couple more pics for this weeks competition, could call them risqué, so once processed I may or may not change my entry.
I have 2 different shots to chooses from. One is a bit risque in a fun kinda way and the other is totally unrisque! Just processing them now however, I have some lake District shots to sort too so might be tomorrow

Your original entry has too much green in it, to be really naughty.
My camera only left the house on my volunteering day, so nothing was taken with the competition in mind. Have one shot though that might fit the bill.
Went to town several times this week (without camera, as I am too busy at the moment), and there was plenty of naughtiness about, especially in the form of obese people stuffing their faces.
When I was in a supermarket, one of those, said to another one who was wobbling alongside her: "I only walk to the car park."
That, and the sight of what was in her trolley, said it all.
Nothing from me this week I'm afraid. Its been one of those weeks and its not over yet. :-\
Reinardina, Im sure I don't need to say that in todays western world, obesity is a serious SERIOUS problem. It's often an illness rather than greed and I, like many, need a good few pounds off. However, I agree with what you say, about what goes in to peoples shopping trolleys. I sometimes despair at the junk food allowed to be on sale for kids. They don't stand a chance.
This is my fun entry

I do have a back up if people are offended
Two questions spring to mind. Who's on top and who took the photo? :D :legit:
Me and me!

It is a serious problem, and of course it is nobody's fault. It just happens. I see toddlers, that are seriously overweight, and on the way to become obese before they're eight. I see them eat and drink on the hoof; crisps and fizzy drinks; discarding empties as they go along. Have never seen any of them bite an apple. But of course they can't, as their milk teeth are rotten, or already removed.
It is only in a small percentage of people, that excess weight gain is a symptom of another disease; usually obesity is the result of overeating. And eating (too much of) the wrong foods.
And it is not only in the western world: Dubai pays people to lose weight and Japan has government mandated waistline limits that people have to adhere to; in the Pacific people have abandoned their traditional food, and embraced western (processed) food, with staggering results.

I
do like that tune very much!
'Size zero' is as bad, and unhealthy, and as much of a curse as obesity.
I'm in with the Naughty Boys.'

I'm out of this weeks competition as on reflection my original entry was rubbish.
Jeff, it wasn't rubbish in my eyes however, if you were unhappy with it, then I understand why you withdrew it. I must admit, mine wasn't as exact as I wanted it to be, but there's only so many times that you can jump in and out of bed with your hubby, fully clothed, before you are either too exhausted or your sides split from laughing!
For me, the comp is all about fun and this week, I think I had the most fun ever in the comp.
Chris, hope that you do not mind me saying but as a picture I prefer your other take on the subject, as for fun I think that you had more doing your entry picture.
I had another one but needed a lot of PP and just did not have the time to pull it off, based on the lines of "what the butler saw" through the keyhole. Trouble was not trying to make it look too seedy as the butler saw a nude. I will leave it at that. :legit:
Technically the choc was was years ahead but theme and fun wise, the entry won for me. We were fully clothed, and no naughtiness took place...well not then anyway! haha
Too much information Chris - too much !
I meant the cheeky glasses of wine after!!!!!!
And you worry about your weight?
Theres nothing wrong with a cheeky glass of wine now and then. Its when its more that it's a problem Reinardina. The walkin in the lakes more than burned up the calories of one glass of wine.
You don't drink then Reinardina?
I do drink, but I believe a single glass of red wine is something like 90 calories. And once the bottle is open, it cannot hang around for too long, without deteriorating ...
So I never stick to one glass.
25 calories per ounce, normal glass is 4-5 ounces   :hmm: :hmm:
Good job I hoovered the stairs, walked, went to gym, cleaned the oven, swept the yard.....
There are about 800 calories in a decent bottle of plonk. Well worth missing pudding for. :D

In this day and age, when supermarket wines (the former 'plonk'), often outstrip wines bought from wine merchants, I'm not sure what plonk is anymore.
Is it just a synonym for wine?
I thought plonk just meant alcohol.
Oh for goodness sake, just drink it and forget the guilt!!
*Raises a glass to SpikeyJen*.....

Plonk is the sound you make as you fall into a wine lake! :o :P
