Feels very strange posting this week IOTW thread. So glad I appear to be getting my mojo back and looking forward to upgrading my kit hopefully later in the year.
Thank you for choosing one of my shots Andrew.
Fortunately SWMBO was buying flour in the mill, which gave me time to wait and catch the sunlight breaking through the clouds. :)
How does it feel to congratulate yourself?
Good you've got your mojo back.
Congratulations on IOTW.

Congratulations on IOTW.
Rather weird to be honest - but I could not get my head around rewording the usual format in the surprised shock of it all.
Thanks Reinardina.
Glad you're enjoying it again. Well done ;)
Cheers Karen, its been tough this year with one thing and another and achieving a few reasonable shots and the warm sunshine is very lifting. Good to see you are hopefully over your broken arm situation.
Well done you for congratulating you! ???

Thanks Jane, not many working mills around here so it was good to catch the mood of the day first time round; although no doubt I will visit Normandy again via the same route :)

This was how i felt when I got my pic of the Tower Bridge and then see it get picked for IOTW ;)
Maybe a break is good for the photographic soul. The pic just gets better each time I look. Just spotted the sun flare spots - just as you would see if you opened your eyes looking up at the sun when laying in fields... What's more it gets more relevant as i get back to my cycling even more = just wish we didn't have so many fields full of Oil Seed Rape :(

I think you are right, I seem to be harder on my self as I select the shots to process further.
As for all the Oil Seed Rape :knuppel2: It gets right up my nose and congests the sinuses, well it always feels that way, and the harsh yellow hurts my eyes ruining the balance in many a scene through the view finder. Perhaps I should grit my teeth and press the shutter button one day, then readdress the balance in editing.
