Just moved over to Lightroom and have discovered tutorials @ anthonymorganti.com. I know I'm new to Lightroom but I find these video tutorials very informative. Best of all they're free.
OK, I'm resurrecting a post...
I am new to LightRoom4 too and need some direction on how to get started as I find the program quite daunting. I seem to have every book and magazine article available but I'm just a bit stuck.
Any advice on tutorials, videos...
There are a few things I can suggest. One is the Lightroom Forums. Lots of help there, they are run by the Lightroom Queen, Victoria Brampton (you can get her book too).
Lightroom Killer Tips by Matt Kloksowski
Lightroom 101 has a lot of links to other Lightroom sites.
Most of those are for tips, help, etc, but not learning Lightoom in general. I strongly recommend Scott Kelby's book The Adobe Photoshop Lightroom X Book for Digital Photographers (he has written versions for at least versions 3 - 5 so fill for X ). He starts with getting started: how to import (which does not do what one might think) and how to organise. His methods work quite well.
I found the lightroom forums helped me get started, some youtube video's that helped me get started as well such as this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q-Pe8iDXK0s
Playing around with lightroom was the best thing though :)
You could always try Adobe TV Julianne Kost does some excellent video tutorials on lightroom
