Time to vote folks!
Well done Reinardina. I`d like to think I`d go out in one of those but more than likely it will be a banana box ;)
A well deserved win Reinardina. A lovely shot, perfect for monochrome, could almost have been taken 100 years ago.
Congratulations Re
Thank you for your positive comments.
I was very lucky (dead lucky?) to come across the photo team; they did all the work, I only had to press the shutter. And such a suitable subject for monochrome. I still have a lot of 'unused' shots, that I'll probably turn into a set, once I get round to it.
I did several mono versions and decided on this one, as it looked (to me anyway) the most 'authentic.'
It was a very impressive set up, with gorgeous Friesian horses and an experienced coachman who even managed to reverse, and that (so I was told) is something you don't come across often. Mind you, it was only the second time since I came to England in 1984, that I saw a hearse like this, so you wouldn't come across it often anyway.
I'll put the new competition on tomorrow; haven't quite made up my mind.
Congrats on the win Reinardina, got my vote. It looks so authentic and perfect for mono.

Thanks Matthew. I could repeat your comment, as I thought your entry was spot on. Could also have been photographed a century ago.
Now off to set up the new challenge.
