Darn you Mick.....I am like a kid in a toy shop!.... :2funny: Thanks for the link though, might treat myself to a Dslr for the upcoming wedding shoot
You have just cost me money Mick. :knuppel2:
However not from there, but you planted the seed because they had a new battery grip on there which I fancied for 70 notes. On looking further I found a nearly new one from MPB for 49 quid.

Can you not hear it calling you?......Grraaahaam........Grraaahaam........... :D ;D
This is a very naughty thread. Luckily I remain firm in my resolve that my current saving regime is irrevocably dedicated to the purchase of an Epiphone Les Paul Custom :) Might get there by the end of the summer with a bit of luck.

I get the feeling another review might be heading to guitaristguild.com (Hopefully). ;) :legit:
Sure I'll do a review Mick - but it'll be a while coming.
I actually wouldn't want a Gibson because of the nitrocellulose varnish, even if I could afford one!

Actually, I can see why they cost so much, one is the Gibson name, and secondly the work that goes into building one. Did you ever see the Gibson factory tour? http://youtu.be/VbU1R4KDymw The guy at the end has the best job. :D
Thanks for that Mick, very interesting. Have a look here (http://www2.epiphone.com/FactoryTour/qdtour.html) for a glimpse (stills only) at the Epiphone factory in Quingdoa - not too different really - CNC milling, silk screening, hand buffing . . but no nitrocellulose!
Meanwhile, back to cameras . .
