Title: iPOD Storage
Post by: Tripod on February 13, 2009, 11:20:13 PM
Unfortunately all ipods have to be connected to a computer using itunes for conversion. There is not direct way of using an ipod from a camera out in the field. Pity because the ipod touch has a beautiful screen. Process is a bit of a fiddle. A real pity as that screen is the bees knees

I also have a Sony PSP which also has a great screen and can have photos downloaded to it via a computer and is as easy to use as an external hard drive.

Hi John.

I've never used a ipod, but my boy has a PSP 3000, and must agree the screen is pretty good.

We downloaded some pics to it quite easily.   Trouble is your limited to whatever sized memory stick you put in it.  Also ripped some movies to it from DVD, and they work nicely too.

Sorry I'm a couple of days late saying this, but happy birthday for the 12th, hope you had a good one.

Mick, your calender slipped one day as my birthday is the 11th. But then I'll forgive you seeing your buying me a 5D mark II. Honestly though thanks very much for the greetings.
