Title: Vista and saving log ins etc
Post by: Alfonso_Frisk on August 27, 2012, 12:15:51 PM
Now I have only had this desktop machine for around 3 years but can I hell find a way to get it to remember all my password etc for the sites I visit :(
Situation has become more of an issue since my main use lappy power supply has failed, and whilst waiting for delivery of a replacement I am using this god damn desktop.
Tried a google but not getting a solution. Any ideas here folks ?

Using
Vista home premium
64 bit
and browser is firefox

TIA
Alf

Alf, sorry it doesn't help at the moment but when you get the laptop back working set up Firefox Sync on it and then on the desktop DON'T do it the other way round. That will then sync all your favourites and other stored info between the two machines. I find that it works well. In Firefox go to Tools > Options > Sync.
