Just a few words of introduction, though I think this has become the new DCM site so lots of users will know me already .
Being recently retired I thought I would be able to indulge myself in my fave hobby, but family commitments take most of my time and its harder than ever to get out and about though it shouldn't last forever.
I'm a big Nikon fan but do agree that Canon cameras take darn nice pics too.
I currently use a Nikon D300 and have 2 macro lenses a 70-300mm a Sigma 18-200mm and the kit lens that came with the D300.
I didn't know that this site existed until the DCM site went down! so every cloud has a silver lining as this is a great find, and I know I will be on here a fair amount.
Best regards to all, Bob.
