A few of us in the club are trying to move away from the staple club diet of competitions and talks about someone's holiday snaps on the other side of the world.
So last week we arranged for one of the town's studio photographers to take us out for the evening around the town centre with a couple of models he knows.
We had two lighting setups, while one girl had a continuous video light, the other had a single flashgun with a portable softbox fired off a remote.

Looks like a fun night was had by all.
Graham.
of course, having opened my mouth about camera club meetings, I now have to prepare and lead a practical evening on macro photography in just over a week's time.
I did some macro's at the weekend for the first time in ages - and for the first time on my 100mm macro, added my extension tubes - was an interesting experience!
Some cracking shots Cathus, like the first and love the last one, real air of mystery.
Like the last one.
Continuous light works well here. Better model too ;)
thanks for the comments, the last one is my favourite too.
The 3rd and the last one do it for me. Like OB said a real air of mystery to them good stuff!
