My Art House representative is asking that I resubmit the photo's they selected in 300 DPI TIFF's. I understand that's a printing term Dots per Inch but far as I can see Photoshop only offers PPI or PPC how to I get this 300 DPI set? I googled it but most of the answers are either 'it's very complicated' to 'it's two very different issues'.
I usually resize to 300PPI if using Pixbuilder and save. If you check the properties (right click on unopened file) the PPI is displayed as DPI  but then I only use basic Pixbuilder and NoisewarePro programs. NoisewarePro may automatically save .tiff at 300 DPI
Also as it may be relevant; If I open a 300 dpi image, edit and resave it image size 3264 x 2448 pixel, .jpeg file - sometimes it resaves at 96 DPI unless I reinstate the 300 PPI :legit:
Interesting, learn something new everyday. Then again that's why I come here ;D
It appears to me that very many people, even professional print houses, use the terms ppi and dpi interchangeably. They really do mean different things but maybe in practice it's not so important.
