As your probably aware Service Pack 3 has now been released as a windows update. Anyone been daft enough to install it yet? (apart from me that is) :D
So far so good, at least my computer booted up OK after the install. ;)
Related issue; I've put SP1 for Vista on my poot and everything seems fine, despite numerous horror stories on the web. Feels a BIT quicker but not much.
Put SP3 on my desktop and laptop without issues so far (24 hours) not done my wife's yet just in case.
I updated my desktop at work and my laptop at home and both are working fine so far.
Didn't even know either SP's were out.... :-[
Can't say I'm in a rush to get sp3. Since I've installed XP from a fully inclusive sp2 disc, I've not had to reinstall windows at all, and have not had any bugs, problems, need to reinstall, and that's been for nearly if not more than two years.
Shouldn't have said that though, should I..... :-X
