Camera Craniums: The Photography Community for Enthusiasts

As I'm off on my hols in a little bit of a short while the idea of roads came to me - I shall be spending some time on a few to get to the seaside.

So this week take a picture of a road; any road. Be it a main artery or a sleepy country lane. Full of traffic or empty, but make the raodiness of the road a key feature in the picture.

PP as much or as little as you like.

Pictures to be taken between 00.01am Monday 11th April 2011 to 23:59 Sunday 17th April 2011 .
Pictures to be posted in the entries thread no later than 23.59pm Monday 18th April 2011.
Poll will be up Tuesday 19th April 2011.
Winner to be announced Saturday 23rd April 2011.

The Rules for the weekly competition are...

By entering you agree to take responsibility to
post a topic on the Sunday following your declared win
create an entries thread
create a chat thread
create a poll for that weeks comp and declare the winner on the Saturday
(if for any reason there is a problem and no subject is posted by the winner by Monday night admin will advise second place winner to post the topic asap, do the poll etc)

In case of a tie, the first entry posted wins.

Managed to find a subject. I was going to do the road to my house, but Simon got there first. Luckily for me, although not for the rat, I found this dead specimen in the middle of the road, just across from our hamlet's rubbish bins:

It can be quite a busy road so I was anxious to avoid ending up like the rat in taking its picture.
