I've been looking at entry level cameras and drove to a camera shop where the guy was trying to sell me the A33L. However, it was too pricey for me atm. So, I've been looking at the A390L. Any thoughts on this model?

Try here for all things minolta/sony related, this is a great Alpha mount resource I'm on there as Keithf

personally I love my A350 and am very very happy with it got some nice lenses...if you have an alpha try and pick up a beercan 70-210f4 it's a cracking lens and I am really pleased with the results I am getting.
Thanks for the tip. :)
I can't seem to find what f-stops it has..or any of the Sony's have. I didn't bother to check while I was at the store...which is a good 40 minute drive away. LOL
Try this see if this helps (didn't have a chance to look at it so this is a hit and hope bit like some of photos ;D)

Failing that sign up to Dyxum and ask in there seriously for all things Sony/Minolta related I don't think there is a better resource than this it is fantastic...
Thanks, I'm checking out the forum now. :)
