Title: Epson R800?
Post by: Graham on October 02, 2010, 04:51:20 PM
Is anyone using the above mentioned printer?
Mine has gone to Jesus (Via a first floor window.) And I have a spare (New and sealed.) red ink cartridge.
If it's any use to anyone, pm me an address and I'll stick it in the post.
                        Graham.

Epsom isn't too far from here. There's racing there today. :legit:

I have an R800 - just wish I could get it to print the same as it looks on the screen!

TBH I have about 3 complete sets of inks, so it would be best going to someone with a real need!

What Software do you print from?

I find the best prints from Epson printers come from using Epson Easyprint as supplied with the printer.

Having printed my own colour pictures back in the days of chemicals and darkrooms I am suprised just how easy colour printing is today.

I use an R285 and it's great with both Epson and Third Party Inks.

Malcolm, I would prefer to print straight from Photoshop CS5 - but it never comes out right - far too dark - now if I send the same print out to a online lab, they come out perfectly (Even if I turn off the lab to make adjustments!)

I've no idea if I can use easyprint - I definitely don't have it installed on my 'puter!

Hi Mark

Easyprint will be on your installation disc or can be downloaded from the Epson site. It really is easy to use and well worth a tryout.
