Very nice shot Dave i was down there back in June of this year did you get to polperro?, i found it a bit more picturesque than Looe.
Thanks Trickee, yes we went to Polperro lovely village, we stayed just 2 miles from there so we went every day, we were in Cornwall, we did a 1000 miles in a week travelling around Cornwall, thats just down there not travelling to and from Cornwall, went all over, list is endless, Bude, padstow, newquay, st agnes,Tintagel, Gollithia waterfalls, st ives, port Isaac,Polperro, Looe, fowey, bodmin to the Cheesewrings, and Hurlers standing stones and many more fabulous places, got lots of fantastic shots, pretty much did it to death, we needed a rest when we came home LOL
Any more comments and thoughts anyone
It is a nice shot of a lovely place Dave but for me there is no focal point to hold my eye - sorry.
Hi Irv
Its not really about a focal point, I dont think you could have one in this type of scene its more about the overall atmosphere and ambience of the place, not sure if others will agree with me, we'll see from subsequent posts if it gets any LOL, thanks for your comments :)
I like it, very nice shot, not got down there myself, go to Devon LOTS as both mine and the MRS's parents live in Devon....been to the Hurlers and the Cheesewrings though and went to Trevethy Quoit (not far from the Hurlers)....some shots of those on my flickr page...Like the reflections of the lights etc I know a judge would probably say just trim a bit off the bottom as there's nothing but dark there but that's just an opinion not a criticism...overall I think it's a very nice shot
Thanks Keith I will trim a bit from the bottom and see how it looks :)
