Camera Craniums: The Photography Community for Enthusiasts

Anybody know what qualifies as a student in Adobe's Teacher/Student discount program? I'm thinking of taking some photography courses part time at my local college.

Now this is a tricky one, as it seems to vary slightly from country to country according to how the education system works.

Basically, you need to be doing a course at a recognised establishment.
Some of the 1-5 day courses at adult learning places don't qualify. You tend to find it is the courses of a longer duration that do qualify.
You also find those establishments register you as a student with a student union card or similar...

Check the courses you plan to do, and then the establishments you wish to learn at.
I know i qualify for the package with the OCA course i'm doing - but don't have a need for it...

If you or any member of your family, living/resident at your home is in full time education then you should qualify, but you have to send proof of this to Adobe.

This should have been posted in what bemused me today, I was looking at a 3 course series for learning Photoshop it's at my local college but is taught by Adobe instructors. The courses are all weekend intensive Sat & Sun 10hrs each. What's bemused me is that part 3 starts in two weeks, followed by part 2 and part one starts in late oct. In other words instead of doing the courses over the next 3 or 4 months I'm looking at the next several semesters. I'm looking at a Digital Photography certificate program as well and it's scheduled the same, the courses don't appear to follow in sequence.  ???
