Title: Vignetting yes or no??
Post by: Simple on August 15, 2010, 11:02:41 AM
The use of dark vignetting on pictures seems to be taking an increase of late, probably because of the ease in which Lightroom allows you to create a vignette. Am I the only one who thinks it is vastly overused and normally used to hide the fact that a picture lacks composition and or impact? Is it just me? What do you think?
BTW Apologies for a long absence. I have started a photography club and am in the process of setting up a wedding/studio/gallery shop in town. Been busy.

Horses for courses some might say...

But when any "previously restricted to the technically minded" effects become available at the click of a mouse button you will always get loads of people using it plentifully...
