HELPPPPPPP I am being a complete numpty here :-[ :'( I am having a complete nightmare getting a frame round my photos in Elements 7 to the point where i cannot seem to figure out how to do it.....I know I am doing something wrong but cannot figure out what, and the E7 help is about as useful as a chocolate teapot.....so anyone got an idiots(that'd be me) guide to framing a shot in elements 7 pleeeeeease.....
Try this link:

This site (Alibony) has a 7-page index to lots of other Elements tutorials - many very useful.

ooh thanks Simon will check that out later thank you very much
Asuming your talking about a simple frame i.e white keyline and then a thicker black edge?
If so, I normally just resize the canvas. Enter in an appropriate value in the width and height boxes (remember that the figure you enter is divided equally on each side, so if you enter 100 pixels wide it will add 50 to the left and 50 to the right), select the colour of choice from the picker and hey presto....job done
