This week subject is DOORS

So that's house doors, car doors, cathedral doors, fridge doors, jackdaws. Actually not the last one. Anything opening and closing that is commonly known as one or more doors.

Pictures to be taken between 00.01am Monday Monday 31st May to Sunday 6th June.
Pictures to be posted in the entries thread no later than 23.59pm Monday 7th June.
Poll will be up Tuesday 8th June  until 23.59pm Friday 11th June.
Winner to be announced Saturday 12th June (winner should post the new topic no later than 23.59 Sunday 13th June).

The Rules for the weekly competition are...

By entering you agree to take responsibility to
post a topic on the Sunday following your declared win
create an entries thread
create a chat thread
create a poll for that weeks comp and declare the winner on the Saturday
(if for any reason there is a problem and no subject is posted by the winner by Monday night admin will advise second place winner to post the topic asap, do the poll etc)

In case of a tie, the first entry posted wins.

Poll to be created Tuesday to run till Friday, winner declared Saturday

Editing limits to be specified by the person choosing the competition subject, if nothing is mentioned then there is no limit to editing allowed.

Montage images should only contain images taken within specified dates

Since we can't comment on pictures directly, here I am with a crit for Irv.

I like Irv's picture the best, but I am wondering if it could be a bit better if it were cropped to just show two of the doors (the top two including the graffiti?) and if it the verticals and horizontals were parallel.

I noticed initially because of the repeating pattern thats why all the doors are in there and honestly you don't know how long I was trying to sort out the horizontals/verticals with perpsective control and skew control in cs3 :-[

Horizontals and verticals - DXO is what you need my friend, DXO.  ;)

It's the RAW editor I use because it was the only one I could afford  :D

But it is brilliant at optical corrections.
