I feel like the Liberal Party - technically I didn't win, but I have the power to shape the future! So I thought we'd have the Liberal Party's colour ORANGE as the theme for this week.

Pictures to be posted in the entries thread no later than 23.59pm Monday 17th May.

I like oranges.
I thought the Lib-dem's had yellow as their colour! :-X
We think along the same line, as I was thinking of Red, Blue or Yellow/Orange.
I think the Liberal Party's colour is orange, but I've screwed up because, of course, the coalition is not with the Liberals but with the Lib-Dems, which is yellow and turquoise. Shows how much attention I've been paying!

The only thing orange i've seen this week are track workers. :( Need to give a can of pop to someone and hope for a "you've been tangoed" moment. Don't want to take a photo of the fruit whose name escapes me at the moment. :2funny:
Now where can I stick that traffic cone. :D
Yesterday was forecast to be sunny whilst today we would have rain. Went out yesterday and it was sunny to start but the clouds rolled in and blocked the sun. :(
Went out today and it was sunny and remained so throughout the day with clouds blocking the sun for a bit of the time but no rain. ;D Walked miles looking for a Orange-Tip Butterfly but the cool wind seemed to deter them. Walked over to a part of the valley where I'd seen a few butterflies before and found a Peacock butterfly on a log. Walked a bit futher along this path but didn't see any other butterflies. Started to walk back and the Peacock butterfly was still around, then a Orange-Tip flew past. Watched to see if he would land somewhere and he did on a flower. Moved up slowly and took some photos but the sun was behind a cloud, so his wings were shut. Waited for the sun to come out and hoped he wouldn't fly off. The sun came out after five minutes and he opened his wings and I got the shots. :2funny:
I was very lucky and it was the only one I'd seen all day, about seven hours.
Wings closed.

That first one is lovely and sharp Oldboy.
Couldn't find anything at work today so did a quick set up and tried to get the timing right. Wasn't going to shoot an orange but an entry is an entry.
