British Dragonfly Society (http://www.dragonflysoc.org.uk/species.html)
And here's some info on Butterflies
UK Butterflies (http://www.ukbutterflies.co.uk/index.php)
Mick I think this type of thing ( and the others you have posted ) should be on the front page as headlines or a latest theme with a few quotes from the articles.
We can use these links elshere to inform people and promote the site.
( I hope that makes sense? )

BDS site is likely to be quite until April with regards to sightings. But as Mick says, a great resource for the species - if you're mad on them (a la me!) then the guide to dragonflies and damselflies of Great Britain and Europe travels in your camera bag with you!
Quick update on Dragonflies - last year's warm spell saw damselflies, predominantly large reds - an early species - appear about mid March. Looking at the weather reports for the next few days, am not expecting any this year!
Your probably right Carl, but I could have sworn one flew by me a couple of days ago. 8)
I need to plant my garden up more this year, to encourage more insects and birds etc.
Mick, could have been. I swore I saw a hawker about a week ago - except it's about 3 months before the earliest take flight. But damsels can be seen in sustained warmer spells from February!
