This thread is posted to seeif there is any interest in a meet to Wisley Gardens before the 28th Feb to see the Butterflys or Kew between 6th Feb and March 16th to see the Orchid display?
Seperate threads can be posted if the numbers come in.
I'll be at Wisley on Sunday with a group from another forum, was there on Tuesday and some of the butterflies are stunning

If no replies by Satruday i might see you there.
What are you shooting with - Macro or 70-200 VR?
Nikon 105 macro :) Do you still have my mobile number ?
yes - sorry had to check as got a new phone and comp since last we met - but god news the details transferred over ok!
Macro lens it is then - and may see you Sunday!
I would be interested in visiting the flowers and butterflies
Sandy
how are you fixed for this Sunday Sandy?
Quick check of the old train times - if they're going to Redhill then that's one place to meet - otherwise best place is Guildford (better roads)
At the moment not sure about Sunday, I caught a head cold and feel rotten today. I actually have the day off work not sure how I will feel on Sunday.
Sorry
Sandy
don't worry Sandy. Sunday was a quicky - who knows might be a need to do another trip!
just get yourself well - that's far more important...
I`ll be there tomorrow too. 8)
Looking like a meet then.
That 7D is gonna love those butterflies!
Hopefully!
Well the NIKON D300 loves them, see you both tomorrow  Andrew we are aiming for 10.30 in the cafe outside the main entrance
I hope you all managed to get some great photos it was a shame I missed the shoot but maybe another time I will manage it.
Sandy
Sadly Sandy i spent my morning in A&E and am now confined to the house walking around like a crab!
Not a happy bunny - especially as it was all rather avoidable!
Martins pictures look good though. About to disappear onto Flickr to see the other shots.
Andrew sorry to hear you spent your morning in A&E. I hope you did not damage yourself or your camera too much.
Sandy
Sorry you didn't make it on Sunday Andrew, hope you recover soon. If you do decide to go to Wisley, let me know I might join you if I'm free
Thanks for your comments on Flickr, those were taken on Tuesday, hoping to get the Sunday ones up later today.
Martin it was good to see you again, now if you had a real camera you could have tried out my lens ;D
Yes it was a disappointing day for me.
I am hoping to get up on Wednesday if the weather is good and the medication works as promised.
I will confirm Tuesday evening if am going by way of text or e-mail - just need to see weather forecast!
What camera did Martin take then? I thought he would have shown you his lovely new 7D wildlife special from Canon!
Wednesday is a possibility Andrew, think the forecast is showers but the glasshouse is pretty wet anyway :)
That's the problem with Martin's camera, it's a Canon ;)
Sorry I didn't get on last night, just wanted to say thank you to Andrew for pleasant day chasing the butterflies yesterday, Sandy we really must try and arrange another visit while they are still there
Have sent PM's to see if any one is available this Sunday!
It was a great trip and thanks for the company Ingrid. A real of yours that macro lens isn't it. It was nigh 10:30 at night before i was finished uploading etc.
Time to pop out again shortly now the rain has stopped!
I would be interested in going this Sunday provided that trains are running between Maidstone West and Three Bridges. I would be a lovely chance to get some macro shots.
Sandy
I have looked at train times and I do not think there are railworks. There is a train that leaves Maidstone West at 0822 and gets into Redhill at 0955 Is this any good? The trains back are one an hour and leave Redhill at 1610.
Sandy
Sounds good to me.
I'll drop Ingrid a line as well and Martin.
A couple of questions. Should I catch the 0822 train tomorrow? also did you use a tripod? Andrew I cannot find you mobile number is it possible to email it?
Sandy
