Visited The Heart of the Great Alone exhibition at The Queens Gallery, Palace of Holyroodhouse on Saturday.
This is an exhibition of Antarctic photography by Herbert George Ponting and Frank Hurley, marking the 100th Anniversary of Captain Scotts ill fated journey to the South Pole.
Some stunning images on display, all the more so when you consider the equipment they used and the conditions they had to work in. The images tell a remarkable story.
I can thoroughly recommend a visit
refresh my memory - where is Holyrood House again?
Andrew its in Edinburgh
