The subject for next weeks competition is .....
'OUT OF FOCUS'
We all strive to get our shots perfectly in focus with the details pin sharp. So this week, let's go against this photography 'rule' and do the complete opposite. Despite your photo being out of focus, it should still retain enough shape/form/definition so that the subject is still identifiable.
For clarification:
- shots with a narrow depth of field do NOT count
- the entire photo should be out of focus
Have fun :)

Unusual and interesting topic ;)
Should get some creative juices flowing...hopefully :)
No problem. Getting anything in focus is hard labour for me. I hope you can tell the difference between motion blur and bad focusing. ;)
I've got loads of pictures I've taken over the years that would fit this topic ;D
put my thoughts on the shout.
But in honesty this is quite a hard challenge - i'll put my kit on manual and let the wife have a go :2funny: :D

That sounds rude! ::)
Oh Joy! Instead of "keep 1, delete 99", this week might be "keep 100".
Love this topic, cant wait to think something up.
Actually, this sounds really difficult - produce an out of focus photo and convince everyone it was supposed to be like that :legit:
nope - i think this will be quite a heavily subscribed weekly comp
Ok, I'll be first this week.. great fun subject, as you can see my props mean that I am no longer sure if any shots in the galleries are in focus or not  and I hope the poll for last weeks is ok lmao.. This is allmost a true idea of how I am seeing right now... Actually I even had to refer to my camera manual believe it or not, I found that the wireless finction on the 7D cant give you second curtain flash functions :) I'm going to post the third shot in this series for my entry as its quite hard to keep the shot oof when using the zoom technique :)
Hope you have as much fun as I have, hic

Those pictures are outrageous. Coke? Next to Whisky? Unbelievable.
Thanks for doing the poll - looks fine, so obviously you did it afterwards.
some very clever shots in already.
I like jimthetrain's effort - very clever.
Can someone set up the poll for me please? I've only got internet access at work at the moment and won't have the time to get the poll sorted.
My laptop at home has decided overnight that its going to throw a wobbly for no apparent reason ::)
