Image of the Month - IOTM

Enter your personal favorite photograph, composite image taken and created within each calender month (a new entry thread will be created for every month).

At the end of each month a Poll can be added and the Monthly Favorite accordingly seen when the Poll closes.

Entries for June must be in by 5th July and so on...........Will a seven day poll at the end of the month surfice?

Please chat about the images that have been entered here as a continual thread.

Like the idea! Am very short of computer time at the moment, but will hopefully be 'back' once I'm back home.

Hopefully, all being well, I will be able to just add the Poll to each month's Entries thread and the winner can be acclaimed in this continual Chat thread.

By keeping it as simple as possible, without any obligation for the winner having to set the new Chat, Entries and Poll threads (as in the weekly comp) which can be time consuming; hopefully there will be a reasonably good response.

The only Rules (I envisage for the kick off) will be that;
1, Entries must comply to the monthly date / time frame.
2, Images must be uploaded into a CC Gallery prior to Entry.
3, All Entries to consist of Title and the image, and if entrants wish to add additional information they may do so in this thread.

I'm all in favour of a monthly comp, as a full time carer it gives me time to get organised.
Last saturday 20/06/15 I visited Longleat and managed to capture this heron.

A cool shot Harry.

Hopefully the weekly comp will continue and this one will grow along side it.

Literally just back from holiday. I will need some time to sort myself and 'things' out, but I have just entered the 'image of the month' competition with this one:

Harry, you haven't entered your shot!

Yes, the hawk moth was taken on Saturday, must admit to getting a little confused, as I intend submitting the Heron for June comp, but must admit to not being able to find the June's gallery.

No worries Harry, just replace the Hawk moth with the Heron bbcode

The Hawk moth shot is a cracker - pop it in the IOTM - JULY 2015  thread

Congratulations Harry, a great action shot.

Thank you to those, who voted for my shot of inaction and relaxation, quite the opposite of Harry's heron.

Three good quality images; fingers crossed there will be more in the July competition.
