Well done, and I hope it continues after they ask for more pocket money!  :2funny:

It's a pity the setup for professional cricket in this country is still governed by which school you go to & how much you pay in school fees and if your family have played professionally before. If you have the money to pay the county sides coaching fees,(I've seen this happen with very average players)  they know you have no chance of making it due to the above reasons but still take your money. I suppose getting spotted at cricket is harder than at football due to the time involved and you might not last that long at the crease anyway. (Current England players included). Still, it keeps them off the streets in the summer

   Hi Jim.
Mr Skellum informs me that you are both Led Zeplin fans.
Well WMMFGT (well Friday) I went to see and got to take pics of Letz Zep, a tribute band. Let me tell you the term "Tribute Band" dos'nt do them justice, I was astounded at the quality and musicianship on show.
                         Graham.

ps  here's the rest of the tour dates   http://www.letzzep.com/giglisting.php     See if they'er near you.

Thanks Graham, I've had a quick look and southport in october could be do-able. Dave and I went to see a Led Zep tribute band last year but they couldn't keep up with each other. The drummer was ace though.  The Led Zep story I think they were called.

Just 'won' a Pentax SFX 35mm camera on eBay with two lenses. I already have the dedicated flash for this in my parts bin of 'don't quite work with DSLRs' bits. Looking forward to running a roll or two of film through it.

Craig,

I submitted 8 of my Flower shots to a local art wholesaler who published them in their July catalogue. I had them posted on a certain site that's gone the way of the DODO, but I'm reluctant to repost at this point.  ;D
