Pretty clear what this is - anything avian related - detail, individuals, flocks, whatever you choose. As usual have fun.
No holds barred on the PP.
Pictures to be taken preferably between now and Sunday 23rd August 2020, or if you do not have time something from your archives that fits the brief.
Pictures to be posted in the entries thread no later than 23:59 Monday 24th August 2020.
Poll will be up Tuesday 25th August 2020.
Winner to be announced Saturday 29th August 2020.

I have never really had much success photographing birds, and as such have avoided it.
So this is good for me, get me out there to improve in something.
I`m in with one it took me a while to find from archive One of the early shots I took with my Fuji xt 10 and kit lens using spot exposure to try and capture the light on the peacock in the sinking sun. Without doubt the best peacock model i ever had. Got loads of him showing off in lovely light

Popped out to a local reservoir this morning. All the birds seemed to be in hiding as there was a triathlon taking place. Had a nice walk but no photo.
I went to another nature reserve and found some birds. But the longest lens I have is 200mm and it wasn't quite cutting it. Will try again tomorrow.
I went out again yesterday afternoon and it seems that everywhere I go the birds just disappear. Story of my life. I didn't get anything decent unfortunately. Will have to go with one of my others that I am not particularly happy with.
Actually managed to take and use pictures taken yesterday! Though I do have 1000's in the archive!
