Title: My Pictures Folder, file and folder names Tip.
Post by: Mick on February 27, 2008, 12:05:05 AM
When viewing your images (thumbnail view) in your my pics folder (win XP), have you ever had the file or folder names disappear on you?  This has happened to me in the past, and here's how you toggle them on and off.

Open your My pictures folder,

1: Click / View / Tiles.
2: Hold the shift key, and Click / View / Thumbnails.

Each time you do this you will toggle the names on, or off.  ;)

Actually Mick, could do with a hand. When opening images in cs3, it's always list. I'd prefer thumbnails, but can't make em stick!

Carl, is it anything to do with this?  Adobe CS3 and the Case of the Disappearing Thumbnails - The Sequel (http://www.sitepoint.com/blogs/2007/10/26/)

Carl, not sure if that was what you were referring to, I don't use CS3 myself, but found that link after I read your post.   I might be barking up the wrong tree.  Or just barking.  :D
