I'm in Peru right now.  It's a very long way away but I have many cameras, occasional wifi and free time some evenings.

Great read so far, hope you've recovered from the journey now and can look forward to the rest of the trip Mancu Picu is suppososed to be absolutely fantastic (can't believe my bro went there last year and only took a compact Agggh  ) although he was there for 6 weeks and was actually there to go to his girlfriends best friends wedding....and he still got altitude sickness so watch out for that.....hope you packed the marmite as well

Nope - I'm still in Peru.

The jungle was quite, err, basic and didn't run to wifi.  In Cuzco for a couple of days to acclimatise before trekking to Machu Piccu.  It's nice to be cool.  Or rather it's nice that I'm not constantly pouring in sweat...  Altitude is literally leaving me breathless ATM.
