Change your vet, we had a similar thing years ago, one of ours was poorly-backwards and forwards for many steroid injections then they suggested a test for cat aids or something so we went to another vet 3 miles out in the country & the worst he could find was mites in its ears, gave us drops and never had more problems with it.

WAMT, last night the condensate pipe froze on the combi boiler, no heating, up a ladder outside trying to thaw it out then dismatling the whole pipe back to the boiler to clear it. Why do they route it outside so it breaks down in the coldest of weather? Happened last year as well, i may have to rearrange it so it goes into the sink waste indoors.

Ours drains to an internal drain (Its in the garage, which is an extension, so there is a drain inside the garage!)

Not frozen yet - the washing machine has, but not the boiler

My washing machine also froze.  :'(

The pipe that takes the hot water to the bathroom froze for two days, but it thawed out today and water gushed out the joint. Just knocked it back together and it's now OK. It's the second time in about 12 years this has happened and I repaired it the same way then.  ;D

Ever dropped a lens cap onto a stone floor........in a packed Cathedral.....just as the main soloist is getting into her stride?
     I have!  :-[
I might as well have been revving a motorbike for the noise the bloody thing made. :uglystupid2:

No.  That would be a stupid and clumsy thing to do.

However........I've dropped a D3 and 70-200 on a stone floor in a packed church just as the bride walked in.  There were lots of steps for the 2 halves to bounce down after they had separated.

We have a condensing boiler (not a combi though) and our condensing pipe froze at the weekend to the point that the boiler wouldn't fire up, luckily my mate who helped install it, came round and told me exactly what the problem was and sorted it out. What he's suggested though is to get a coupler from a 3/4" bsp (I think thats the diameter of the condensing pipe) and go up to a 38mm condensing pipe, preferably metal as the extra diameter should stop it from freezing up, but if it does freeze up you can still run a blow torch over it to de-ice it.....unlike the plastic version we have at the moment...

WAMT? Myself, just home from the specialist. Says my blood sugar is way off. We discussed my recent retirement and he's giving that the nod as why (have become sedentary). He's giving me 3 months to change my diet and start exercising or he's going to put me on insulin needle full time, as in shot before meals and before bed. Right now I just shoot up at bed time, I hate it. Been doing it over a year now and I'm still not used to it.  >:(
And more, much more than this, I did it my way

Not sure if metal pipe is good idea? I questioned the plastic pipe when my boiler was installed & was told the condensate is slightly acidic and would eventually eat through metal.

Mine is in the loft directly above the kitchen so routing to the dishwasher waste should be simple but SWMBO does not want another "unsightly" pipe on the kitchen wall so I offered to let her defrost it next time!

WAMT? You mean really pixxed me off beyond belief, left me totally stunned, frustrated absolutely gob smacked?

Due to some administrative cock up, 3 (Three) mobile phone network have closed my account and given my mobile number away!!!

We are sorry - we'll have a SIM card to you in 3 days and set you up with an new account then.

Apparently they've not heard of snow or Christmas in Mumbia!!!

So - i am the proud owner of an iPhone4 that has the functionality of an iPod Touch - brilliant!

Did i mention they want me to pay a settlement fee of £56 to finish closing the account properly?

Really - you couldn't make it up!!!!  :uglystupid2: :-X :o :knuppel2: :knuppel2: :knuppel2: :knuppel2: :knuppel2:

The oven gave up the ghost tonight (I think its the heating element that has gone ) so Rose has to trawl around Croydon ( I am working in Hayling Island tomorrow) to get an element or we have to buy a new oven  :o and yes we have people coming round, luckily not xmas day but boxing day.

Don't run it in copper as it will rot away after a few months as the condense is acidic. It's better to insulate it and run it at an angle to the drain.

This site is run by a friend of mine. They can help you determine what needs to be fixed. :)

Just tell them you make and model number and exactly what is not working properly.

Had to fit a new element to our oven a couple of months ago.  Not much help to you now, but this place is handy for spares, very fast and efficient.  Or at least it was for me.   http://www.ransomspares.co.uk/parts/cookers-hobs/?gclid=CK2CwbvKhKYCFUYe4Qod0jV9pA
