The subject for this weeks competition is .....

GLASS

Your picture should try and make something made of glass look a little more interesting 

Rules:

Pictures to be taken between 00.01am Monday 19th to Sunday 25th October.
Pictures to be posted in the entries thread no later than 23.59pm Monday 26th October.
Poll will be up Tuesday 27th October until 23.59pm Friday 30th October.
Winner to be announced Saturday 31st (winner should post the new topic no later than 23.59 Sunday 1st November).


The Rules for the weekly competition are...

By entering you agree to take responsibility to
post a topic on the Sunday following your declared win
create an entries thread
create a chat thread
create a poll for that weeks comp and declare the winner on the Saturday
(if for any reason there is a problem and no subject is posted by the winner by Monday night admin will advise second place winner to post the topic asap, do the poll etc)

In case of a tie, the first entry posted wins.

photos to be taken during the specified dates, ie sunday xx to Monday xx

pictures to be posted in the entries thread no later than 23.59 Monday night

Poll to be created Tuesday to run till Friday, winner declared Saturday

Editing limits to be specified by the person choosing the competition subject, if nothing is mentioned then there is no limit to editing allowed.

Montage images should only contain images taken within specified dates

Please don't vote for your own entry

Everyone is welcome and comments and critique on the entries are also welcome

Gone with the bead shot for now but i've been playing with some glass and a mirror but can,t quite get the image i'm after  Need a mirror without a frame round it.  Love the champagne glasses Howard.

In Frankfurt's City Centre is a new shopping centre called "My Zeil", Zeil being the name of the main pedestrian shopping area in the centre of Frankfurt. A lot of people were annoyed at the name - why it should have been in english, but also at the futuristic architecture which of course cost a fortune. Just posted it. Had a bit of trouble selecting one, as I've posted quite a few before and didn't want to repeat the same shots. Also, had to delete some shots as I've reached the limit and it wouldn't let me post.

well it looks like it's been a good crop of entries this week.
Gonna be difficult working out which picture is in a 'glass of its own'

I've posted the poll early and locked it till I get back tonight. Additional entries will be added later.

I see it expires at 6:52 on Friday   I was hoping it would count from when the poll gets unlocked. If it doesn't reset them I'm sure someone in the know will put it right.
