I was visiting my son in Madrid for a few days and went down to see the Marathon on Sunday. The weather was great for running around 3 degrees at the start of the race and only building up to 9 or 10 degrees by the end. The course itself is quite undulating and is the best course for a PB. The organisation of the race looked very good although the spectators were a bit sparse.
The race was won by Francis Kiprop (2:10:37) from Nickson Kurgat (2:10:54).

A few photo's from the day.

Great shots, especially the fifth.

Thanks, the fifth shot is the leading pack at around 2.5km, around 12 in the pack and they are all Kenyan.
