CHAT thread - Huge.

I've just been to see Pacific Rim (giant robots fighting giant monsters) so the idea of massive scale is on my mind.  However you feel free to interpret as you wish.  For instance, if you are struggling to find something huge, something can be huge relative to something else, or something can be made to look big depending on the camera angle.

Absolutely no restrictions on Post Processing

Pictures to be taken between 00.01am Monday 22nd July 2013 to 23:59 Sunday 28th July 2013.
Pictures to be posted in the entries thread no later than 23.59pm Monday 29th July 2013.
Poll will be up Tuesday 30th July 2013.
Winner to be announced Saturday 3rd August 2013.

The Rules for the weekly competition are...

By entering you agree to take responsibility to
Post a topic on the Sunday following your declared win
Create an entries thread
Create a chat thread
Create a poll for that weeks comp and declare the winner on the Saturday
(if for any reason there is a problem and no subject is posted by the winner by Monday night admin will advise second place winner to post the topic asap, do the poll etc.)

In case of a tie, the first entry posted wins.

Photos to be taken during the specified dates, ie Monday xx to Sunday xx

Pictures to be posted in the entries thread no later than 23.59 Monday night.

Can't get away from rhinos at the moment, but hope to find something else!
But, I'll get a rhino in the bag 'just in case,' as I have rather a lot on this week.

Mike, I thought you were married, in which case you must know a woman's bag is expandable and can contain half the world. Even a rhino or two!

Had to go to town this morning and saw one or two huge things. Not sure they 'came out' well, not sure either they're huge enough.

With the other site still down, you should have plenty of time to think of something else.
Or to procure a small child.

Procure might not be the right word.  :P

I know which way your thoughts are going, and in that case, you're right.
I was thinking of: 1.Obtain (something), esp. with care or effort: "food procured for the rebels".

Or, in this case: child procured for photoshoot.

First in this week, rather than last!  MisterMac wanted to go and see 'Pacific Rim', whereas I wanted to go and see 'I'm So Excited', so we compromised on 'Now You See Me' - brilliant!

Gosh, you are early!
"Now you see me," seems a good compromise!

Got myself a lovely shot of a rhino wearing a bright yellow safety suit, and was considering entering a rear shot, with the title 'Huge Bum.'
But, as I had already 'done a rhino,' and I came across another sizeable bum, I changed my mind.
I have seen bigger ones, once I started hunting, but this one has those lovely tactile contours, while some of the others were without any shape or form.

I am in with this one:

Huge Slimming Target.

Is that a self portrait Reinardina?  :P :legit:

Do I detect a hopeful note here?

But no, it isn't; don't think I could do it. Besides, I cover up in a more flattering way.

Came out of the garage I`d been clearing out to be confronted by a huge toad. Luckily I had my camera on me and went in for a shot!
