Saw these guys working on the top of this Mill chimney today. I thought I wasn't scared of heights but this made me dissy just  looking up from the ground.... :legit:

  And note that the top section of the ladder falls backwards to get to the scafolding!
  They'er wearing HiViz overalls and hard hats, so they'll be fine.

No, you get up as quick as possible. The longer you take the more tired you get. If you any fear of heights you will unlikely make it to the top. You will be climbing with your arms, rather than with your legs, because you push your body toward the ladder. Good body separation and climbing with your legs, using your arms as little as possible is the only way to go up. These guys are trained and fit.

It's easy to climb up a ladder, the hard bit is climbing down afterwards, as you can't see where to put your feet! :o
