Beautifully composed with muted colours and it communicates to the viewer the stillness and calm of the bay. One of the best IOTW for many a week. Congratulations!  :tup:

I can but agree. Jan does have the advantage of living in a beautiful, photogenic country though!

(At least I think he lives there.)

Surely everywhere is photogenic and beautiful if you know where, when and especially how to look.

I suppose you get used to your own environments, and don't see the beauty anymore.
And of course, something so totally different like Norway, especially when photographed expertly, stands out.

The same goes for the wild countryside of Wales for instance, where I've never been. That too impresses deeply when I see well taken photographs.
