Just had a look and a new one costs £540 from amazon so a £240 saving, but it is damaged even though cosmetic. A new sigma 105 macro can be had for less than £320 and if the length doesn't bother you then to me sounds a better deal.

BOOZE!!! Helping ugly people have sex.

I would forget it, as he doesn't say that the lens hood still fits. If you must bid don't go above £100.  :(

do both lens' have a fixed lens or do they (or one of them) extend?

Alan,

Both the Sigma 105, and the Tamron 90mm macro lenses extend when focusing.  The Sigma 150 and 180 macro lenses have (IF)  Internal focusing, so they don't extend.   The Canon 100mm macro doesn't extend.  Not sure about any of the Nikon macro's though.

The Nikon 60mm F2.8 macro does but the 105mm F2.8 VR doesn't.  ;D
