NOW SOLD Just putting it out there in case anyone knows anyone looking for camera equipment. I am downsizing due to more travel and the DSLR equipment that i normally take is becoming too much.
Canon 7D with 3 lenses and lots of other stuff. Not sure if i am doing the correct thing but it feels right. As for price, again got it valued at Jessops and have priced accordingly. Cheers

Thanks H, not sure what price to put on it, went off the Jessops appraisal for the main 4 items then added all the other bits on top.

I think in the end it will need to be sold as separate items, however i hope that i can sell as a job lot, we will see.

Yes me too.
What are you moving onto? I took advantage of the bonus trade in on my back up D7000 when getting a Fuji. Not doing it just now but always seem to resurrect a new offer. WEX gave me best price - jessops way under theirs which swallowed the bonus element if I`d have gone with them.

Apologies for the link redirect, that shouldn't be happening. I've adjusted the viglink settings so hopefully it will suppress the problem.  If it doesn't I'll have to contact their support.

Sorry.

Just got an email from WEX offering £80-200 bonus on top of trade in value against Fujis.

Or copy the link and dump it into the address bar in a new tab.  I have sent a ticket to support to get this resolved.  Not sure how long it will take though.  If it takes too long I'll have to remove viglink from the site.

Mick, Safari takes it direct to viglink as well
:(
Looking to downsize as carrying my kit when travelling, changing lenses constantly has become a pain.
I am looking at a bridge camera, Sony Cyber-Shot RX10 III which i think is about the best you can get at the moment.
Not sure if i am doing the right thing or not so any experience on this would be appreciated.

Looking at the camera it has a 1" sensor and f2.4 through the focal range i believe so unless i am going to blow up an image massively an A3 print should be fine, hopefully.

With my problem in Parkinson's there are times when switching lenses becomes so long a process I miss the shot I was after; so I have contemplated going back to a Bridge. As you say, the RX10 III looks the best of current options.

However, in my experience, through material in design and barrel resetting functions, these styled Bridge cameras have a limited life expectancy of about five years  (Well none of mine have lasted longer  :knuppel2:) and I worry about shelling out big bucks accordingly. At least if a lens packs up you still have a camera.

It is about time for the big players to produce a Travelers Mega Zoom lens that will satisfy this obvious demand. I have all ready asked FujiFilm and still await a reply from them, so I'm hanging off going down the Bridge route again for the moment.

I have to admit that laziness means that I have started just taking my TG-4 almost everywhere. It's satisfying most of my requirements, albeit that it doesn't do low light very well and has very limited zoom and no manual mode. But the one thing it is is tough, like it says on the tin. I use it snorkelling, it takes decent video and costs less than an 18-250 lens.

But I really would like to get another bridge camera at some point. I'm spending what little I have spare on music at the moment - and Epiphone have just released a new Les Paul Traditional in Desert Burst which I am lusting after badly . .

Beaux, not sure what you want when you say "It is about time for the big players to produce a Travelers Mega Zoom lens that will satisfy this obvious demand".

The Sony that i have referred to above is a 24-600, would be nice if there was a 10-400 or there about but cannot find one. 600 is way too  much for what i want and as said would prefer something wider at the lower end but i have to look at a compromise i think.
